Hello, my name is Haley, I was a competitive Swimmer, I have been teaching kids how to swim for 4 years and I enjoy being around kids. Moved here a year ago from Hawaii and I’m oriented from Kansas. As a mom I know how important it is to teach your kids how to swim. In spare my time I hangout with my daughter taking her to the pool and watching her fall in love with the water.

I grew up on Lake Serene in Lynnwood and have been swimming since I can remember from formal lessons at a very early age to year-round competitive swimming all through High School. I have wanted to be a swim instructor for a very long time and feel very strongly that everyone needs this life skill and especially in the Great NW! I am very excited to be an instructor at Goldfish Swim School and look forward to teaching your kids how to swim.

My name is Sterling McLennan and I am a junior in college majoring in News Media with a sports concentration and minoring in Spanish. I started my first swim lessons at 4 months with my mom in a tots class, started competing at 4 years old, and started coaching/teaching lessons when I was 16 – I even taught independently on The University of Alabama’s campus! I’m super passionate about making sure the kiddos are safe in the water while also having tons of fun doing so. My favorite sea animal is an orca and my favorite place to swim on the beach!

Born in the Philippines and raised in Hawaii all my life, water has always been an important part of my life. Growing up around water I grew to understand the importance of water safety and believe that everyone should have some formal type of swimming lessons. Competitive swimming along with Water Polo, Surfing, and Scuba Diving deepened my love for the water. I have been a Lifeguard since 2014 and a swim instructor since 2016. I moved to the Seattle area in the summer of 2019 to further my career and personal growth. I am in my senior year at the University of Hawaii at West Oahu and majoring in Public Administration with a focus on Disaster Preparedness Emergency Management.
