Swim Skills Save Lives: Learn The Rollover

Have you heard of the “rollover?” It’s a critical safety skill we teach swimmers at Goldfish. Imagine being so overwhelmed by swimming that you couldn’t swim one more stroke. Sure, you could begin treading, but the youngest of swimmers may not be able to tread water yet, so we teach them how to roll over and do a back float. By practicing this over and over, it becomes second nature for children to roll over, take a breath and pause if they find they are struggling or sinking.
