It’s time to celebrate! Goldfish Swim School is excited to announce new locations now open, along with a few more locations that will be opened this summer! As always, our instructors use integrity, compassion and trust to teach young swimmers these 5 Things All Kids Should Know How to Do in the Water (and so much more, like water safety.)  And don’t forget that even the youngest swimmers — those ages 4 months and older — can benefit from swim lessons, too!

New Locations Now Open

Evanston, Illinois

We’ve filled the pool and invite everyone to stop by and visit our new location in Evanston, IL! Sally Anderson, the owner and general manager of the Evanston location, touts the brand-new facility and points out that this is now one of the only swim schools in the Evanston area. Stop by — the water temperature is always 90 degrees, and there are open swim sessions during the day when the kids get out of school! There are family-style bathrooms and as always, we use the proven Goldfish Swim School curriculum, including Jump Start Clinics happening in June and July.

Fort Washington, Pennsylvania

Folks in the Philadelphia area can rejoice, now that a new Goldfish Swim School has Fort Washington, PA! “There’s nothing like us here,” says Meg Kevane, owner of the Fort Washington location. “Our 4-1 class ratio is a big selling point.” In addition, Meg notes, the flexibility of classes and schedules at Goldfish Swim School allows for families to have two kids (or more) swimming at the same time. Take note: This location is in the Fort Washington Industrial Park, which gives the office complex a new use — for kids!

Needham, Massachusetts

We are so excited to bring Goldfish to the Boston area, first in Needham, MA! Sarah Kepic, the Needham location owner, points out this is the largest Goldfish Swim School facility — with 13,000 square feet of space! With the Needham area being surrounded by water —Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket are all nearby vacation spots, Sarah noted the importance of teaching water safety. “We’ve been shocked about the lack of true learn-to-swim facilities,” Sarah says. “That sets us apart from the YMCAs and other very important community-based programs, where swimming isn’t a huge part of it.” The location is convenient, located right off the 128 corridor in the Boston area, so drop in! “We’re committed to getting kids safe in the water and swimming so vacation time can be fun and not worrying about kids in the water,” Sarah says.

Canton, Michigan

We already have locations in Ann Arbor, Birmingham, Clarkston, Farmington Hills, Grand Rapids, Macomb, Okemos and Rochester, and soon we’ll have another location in metro Detroit — in Canton, MI. Katie Lee, the Canton location’s owner, said the new facility is in a large community, and neighboring areas (including Plymouth and Garden City) have easy access, too. Even though there are other locations nearby, this one offers the newest updates Goldfish Swim School has to offer. “Every kid needs to know how to swim, so check out the newest, latest, greatest Goldfish in your community,” Katie says!

New Locations Opening SOON

Mundelein, Illinois

It’s time to add Mundelein, IL to the growing list of Goldfish Swim School locations in Illinois this summer, to join those in Burr Ridge, Chicago, Naperville, and St. Charles. Rebecca Burlingame, general manager of the Mundelein location, stresses that new members can look forward to swim lessons that are consistent at Goldfish Swim School. “Most parents know that for your child to learn something and be successful, you have to be consistent — and that’s what Goldfish offers,” Rebecca says.

Columbia, Maryland

We’re excited to announce the first Goldfish Swim School coming to Maryland! You can pre-register online today to make sure you get your spot at our Columbia, MD location. Since it’s located between Baltimore, MD and Washington, D.C., families from all over the area can take advantage of signing up their infants, toddlers and young kids for swim lessons at the new Goldfish Swim School location. There’s plenty of room and different times available for classes during the day and evenings.

Wyckoff, New Jersey

For all you New Jersey families, we heard you loud and clear: We’re opening a new Goldfish Swim School for you in Wyckoff, NJ this summer! According to Jennifer Casper, the co-owner of the Wyckoff Goldfish Swim School, the location is centrally located in a strip mall with great parking and easy access for families. “The thing that’s most exciting is that it’s the first dedicated facility for swimming for kids ages 4 months to 12 years old,” Jennifer says. “There’s no one else doing that in this area, and there’s a real need for it.” More than 400 pre-registrations have already been accepted, and there’s still room for you to pre-register today! Why choose Goldfish Swim School? “It’s very interactive and a very fun environment for teaching a life-saving skill,” Jennifer says.
